Requirements:
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
Certification / Licensure: You must have a license to practice therapy in the state of Texas. (LCDC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMFT-A, LPC/LPC-A, LP)
At least two years of experience in providing direct therapy to individuals, couples and/or families.
Must carry professional liability insurance
Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
Partial List of Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in providing therapy to families, children and individuals.
Ability to work independently, seeking peer consultation when appropriate.
Ability to follow industry documentation standards (Progress notes; Treatment Plan; etc. Forms are provided, if needed).
Must be strength-based and trauma informed.
Ability to utilize the DSM-IV-TR for diagnostic impressions.
Ability to relate to people with respect for their culture and individuality.
Able to relate to individuals with diverse value systems and behavioral norms.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with all age clients.
Ability to organize work and prioritize duties; good written communication skills.
Able to maintain confidentiality regarding clients and agency business.
Work Environment:
Our work environment is flexible - you can work as many (or as little) hours as desired! All admin services are provided: insurance credentialing, initial scheduling, billing services, etc. Worried about what you need to work with us? Don't be! We provide everything you would need to make things as easy as possible for you! That includes: An office space, supplies, EHR, and HIPAA compliant communication (email and messaging). We also handle marketing! Whatever tools you need, we will provide.
Pay Rate
Contract therapists earn a percentage of revenue they bring in. The percentage earned is based on level of licensure, experience, and weekly sessions. The expected pay range is $45-100 per billable session.
